601 Covid-19 cases were recorded in northern Syria
The “Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory” recorded 601 new Covid-19 cases in the liberated areas in northern Syria, bringing the total number of infections to 96,706.
The laboratory did not record any new deaths during the past hours, which keeps the total number at 2388 cases, while recovery cases reached 26 new cases, bringing the number of recoveries to 91,695 cases.
While the total number of infected people in the “Spring of Peace” area in northeastern Syria reached 12,201 infections, 90 deaths and 10,977 recovery cases, with no new deaths and recovery cases recorded, and this comes after repeated warnings of a large pandemic outbreak in the liberated areas.
The Syria Response Coordinators team had previously warned civilians in northern Syria against recklessness in following preventive measures after the re-recording of an increase in the number of Corona virus infections, especially in camp areas, in order to allow medical personnel to contain the new wave of the spread of the Corona virus COVID-19 during the coming period.
