The third round of negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian delegations ends without achieving the required results

The Ukrainian negotiating delegation announced, after the end of the third round of negotiations with Russia in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, that the talks did not achieve significant results to improve the situation, there was some small progress in improving the logistics of humanitarian corridors in Ukraine.

A member of the Ukrainian delegation, presidential advisor, Mykhailo Podolyak, said intensive consultations continued on the main political block of the settlement along with a ceasefire and security guarantees. but there are no “results that can improve the situation.”

For his part Russia’s lead negotiator, Vladimir Medinsky stressed Russia’s expectations from the talks have failed and it is too early to talk about something positive.”

Medinsky said: Moscow’s expectations with the third round of the negotiating process have not been fulfilled, but the meetings will continue, according to the Russia Today website.

He added, “We discussed for a long time the issue of humanitarian corridors, which we agreed on during the previous meeting, and we hope that the work of these corridors will eventually start as of Monday, and the Ukrainian side gave us its assurances on this matter.”

It is noteworthy that today, Tuesday, the Russian-Ukrainian war entered its eleventh consecutive day, after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the implementation of military operations on Ukrainian soil, on the morning of February 24.
