Israeli airstrikes target Iranian military sites near Damascus International Airport
Israeli airstrikes targeted at midnight, yesterday, Iranian military sites near Damascus International Airport and western Damascus countryside.
Activists said: “a series of explosions were heard in Damascus’s sky resulted from Israeli airstrikes which targeted Iranian sites in the vicinity of Damascus and the First Division near al-Kiswah west of the capital.”
The activists added: The Israeli bombing also targeted Iranian military sites in the suburb of Sayyidah Zaynab. The fire had ignited and the highways had been blocked. The firefighters rushed to put out the fire.
The bombing also targeted Jabal Al-Manea in the city of al-Kiswah, south of the capital, where Iranian forces are stationed.
In turn, the Assad regime media said that our air defenses confronted the “aggression’s missiles” and shot down most of them in the sky of Damascus countryside.
On the 13th of this month, Israeli warplanes targeted military points in Masyaf area in Hama countryside, killing 5 people, including 4 members of the Assad regime, and wounding 7 others, including a girl.
