The Assad regime submits a request to the United States on the first day of Joe Biden’s rule
On Wednesday, the Assad regime asked the United States of America, on the first working day of the new American president, Joe Biden, when he took power, to “stop the American aggressions against Syria,” as he claimed.
In a message to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council, the Foreign Ministry of the “Assad regime” said that the past years witnessed “almost daily aggressive movements of the American forces.”
The ministry added, “We call on the United States to stop these aggressive American practices, and called on the international community to condemn the American moves and its continued occupation of lands in Syria.”
The “Assad regime” foreign ministry concluded its message by renewing its demand for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of American forces and their allies from Syria.
It is noteworthy that the Assad regime presented this message in conjunction with the first day on which the new American president, Joe Biden, took power in America.
