1,525 new infections and 23 deaths from the Corona virus were recorded in Syria
Various Syrian regions recorded 1001 cases and 23 new deaths from the Corona virus, distributed by 1,001 cases in the north of Syria, and 255 in the areas of the Assad regime, in addition to 269 cases in the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces in northeastern Syria.
In the details, the Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced the registration of 903 new infections with the Corona virus in the liberated areas of northwestern Syria, and 98 in the Spring of Peace areas.
Thus, the total number of infections in northern Syria reached 73,455, and the number of recovery cases reached 38,223 cases, after 584 cases of recovery were recorded.
The death toll in northern Syria reached 1250 after 10 cases were recorded, and the total number of cases tested yesterday reached 1706, which raises the number of analyzes to 272,648 tests in northern Syria.
The Assad regime’s Ministry of Health announced the registration of 255 new infections, bringing the total number to 34,460, according to the daily update of Corona infections.
While 10 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number to 2257, in addition to that 72 cases of recovery, and thus the number of recovery cases reached 23,884 cases, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health of the Assad regime.
On the other hand, the Health Authority of the Syrian Democratic Forces announced 269 new infections and 3 deaths from the Corona virus in its areas of control.
Thus, the number of people infected with the Corona virus increased to 28,114 cases, including 935 deaths and 2,172 cases of recovery.
It is noteworthy that the death toll from Corona is rising on a daily basis in Syria, and this comes at a time when the Assad regime is known to exploit the spread of the epidemic in its areas of control and continues to ignore health measures, as is the case in areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces, while warnings about the repercussions of the outbreak of the pandemic are mounting in the areas of northern Syria due to the overcrowding of the region Especially in displacement camps.
