Rami Makhlouf asks the Syrians to “pray for a miracle that will save Syria.”
Rami Makhlouf published a video clip on his Facebook page, under the title “The Miracle of the Syrians,” in which he asked Syrians, inside and outside Syria, to pray for a miracle that will save Syria.
Makhlouf said at the beginning of his speech: “Exiting from what he called the dark tunnel and the crisis in Syria is only possible with a miracle, and the disasters that the world witnessed during 2020, including the new Corona virus, natural disasters and the cessation of noise and pilgrimage, are only minor signs, indicating that the year 2021 will be the decisive factor. ”
He added: “If, in 2021, devastating earthquakes, incendiary volcanoes, fiery meteors, drowning floods, serial financial collapses, and deaths in large numbers occurred, they are major signs that need a different pause.”
He asked the Syrian people: “For once, let us prove to the world that the Syrian is capable of making a miracle.
And Makhlouf had sent a previous message on his Facebook page in the middle of last month to his cousin, Bashar al-Assad, entitled “From servant of slaves to the president of the country,” in which he talked about “the wealthy of war” and their attempts to liquidate his properties and hit the economy, and in which he affirmed his determination to exist in Syria. He did not intend to leave it, and called for opening a new page under the title “Syria for all Syrians after turning the page on the past.”
He revealed that he had been threatened by the “wealthy of war” stating that “either support them and give up our properties and the properties of the charitable endowment in their favor, or harness all the joints of the state against us,” as he put it.
The differences between Makhlouf and the Assad regime’s government began after the “Communications Regulatory Authority” of the Assad regime’s government last year demanded that the cell phone companies Syriatel and MTN pay dues estimated at 233.8 billion Syrian pounds, and Syriatel’s share of it is estimated at 133 billion pounds.
During the ongoing conflict between the two sides, the Assad regime’s Ministry of Finance issued a decision requiring preventive seizure of the movable and immovable funds of Rami Makhlouf, his wife and children in Syria.
