The Coalition: Assad regime’s assault on a National Army post is a violation of the ceasefire agreement and the de-escalation agreement
In a statement, the National Coalition considered that the treacherous attack by the Assad regime, with Russian support, yesterday, Monday, on a Syrian National Army post in the village of Ankawi in the western Hama countryside, constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement and the de-escalation agreement in effect in the region.
The coalition stated that all factions, brigades and all observation points in the region are required to take utmost precautions and raise the level of readiness to confront such attacks.
The coalition called on the international parties to condemn this sinful violation of the understandings and agreements, and to exert sufficient pressure on the Assad regime and its militias to stop the military approach, attacks and violations that further disrupt and obstruct the political path.
Eleven members of the “Army of Victory” faction were killed, as a result of an infiltration operation carried out by the Assad regime forces yesterday, Monday, in the village of Ankawi in the western countryside of Hama.
It should be noted that the revolutionary factions thwart repeated infiltration attempts by the forces of the Assad regime and the militias supporting it, on the fronts of the countryside of Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Latakia, which have always resulted in the attacking forces suffering great human and material losses, and a number of revolutionaries rise during their participation in confronting the attempts to advance the regime.
